Building Quality Homes Across the Sunshine Coast

Soil conditions vary from suburb to suburb, and block slopes can differ. Council requirements can vary as well. When you build on the Sunshine Coast, it helps to have a team that understands how the area works. Our regional specialists know these details inside out, so you never feel like you’re navigating the process alone. They’ll help you choose a home design that suits your land, your goals and the way you want to live.

This local experience is one of the reasons why families looking for house builders on the Sunshine Coast chose Clarendon.

Why Choose Clarendon on the Sunshine Coast

When you choose a Sunshine Coast builder, you want a team that understands both the practical challenges and the opportunities that come with coastal living. Clarendon offers:

  • Two local Display Homes so you can explore real layouts before making decisions.

  • A regional team familiar with Sunshine Coast planning requirements.

  • Established relationships with local trades and suppliers.

  • Experience with coastal soils, potential slope considerations and bushfire-rated areas.

  • A Lifetime Structural Guarantee for added reassurance.

While some home builders in Sunshine Coast heavily rely on awards and broad claims, we focus on genuine support, clear communication and helping you make informed choices that suit your lifestyle.

The Building Process

Building a home becomes much easier when you know what to expect. Our process is designed to give you clarity, support and regular updates so you always feel informed.

Initial Consultation and Design

Your journey begins with a conversation with a new home builder on the Sunshine Coast. You will talk through your land, your lifestyle and the features that matter most to you. Together, you will explore designs that fit your block’s width, slope and orientation. Once you select your base design, you can personalise it through the Lifestyle Studio, choosing fixtures, colours, finishes and a façade that feels

Approvals and Construction

After your selections are final, we manage the full approvals process, including engineering, soil tests and council submissions. Approvals typically take eight to twelve weeks, depending on your land and local council. Construction usually takes 6-8 months for a standard build. You will receive updates at each major milestone, such as slab, frame, lock-up, fixing and handover.
