Ambience

The “Ambience” promotion (Promotion) is being conducted by Clarendon Homes (QLD) Pty Ltd ABN 37 078 853 022 QBCC 80444 (Clarendon Homes) subject to the terms and conditions set out in this document (Terms and Conditions).

Promotion Period and availability

1. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, the Promotion commences at 10:00am on Friday 1st October 2021 and continues until such time as the Promotion is terminated, cancelled or suspended by Clarendon Homes in its absolute discretion. (Promotion Period).

2. The Promotion is only available:

  1. during the Promotion Period;
  2. in respect of new preliminary agreements entered into, with initial deposits paid:
  3. between Clarendon Homes and retail consumers;
  4. from 10:00am Friday 1st October 2021
  5. for homes with either Aspire or Luxe inclusions

Definitions

3. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

  1. “Aspire specification”, in respect of homes, means those homes which are the subject of Clarendon Homes’ “Aspire inclusions”. A copy of the full Aspire specification may be obtained at a Clarendon Homes display centre.
  2. “Luxe specification”, in respect of homes, means those homes which are the subject of Clarendon Homes’ “Luxe inclusions”. A copy of the full Luxe specification may be obtained at a Clarendon Homes display centre.
  3. “Inclusions” means each of the inclusions specified from paragraph 9

Conditions of Promotion

4. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clarendon Homes reserves the right to vary, suspend, cancel or terminate the Promotion, the operation of the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions in its absolute discretion and without notice.

5. Due to the continuing development of Clarendon Homes’ designs and products, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Clarendon Homes reserves the right to alter its product specifications and suppliers at any time and without notice.

6. The Promotion is only available in respect of Clarendon Homes’ homes with the applicable inclusions specification and in certain geographic areas. The Promotion is not available:

  1. in conjunction with any other promotion, offer or inclusions specification unless otherwise approved in writing by an authorised representative of Clarendon Homes; or
  2. in conjunction with Clarendon Homes’ Diamond specification

7. The Promotion shall be governed in accordance with the laws of Queensland. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

8. To take advantage of the Promotion, if you are a customer of Clarendon Homes, you:

  1. must enter into a preliminary agreement with Clarendon Homes during the Promotion Period being for a home with Clarendon Homes’ Aspire or Luxe specification;
  2. must accept the advertised price of your chosen home design, being for either Aspire or Luxe inclusions (a price list for both can be obtained at a Clarendon Homes display centre)
  3. must pay an initial deposit to Clarendon Homes during the Promotion Period;
  4. must enter into a construction contract with Clarendon Homes;
  5. must, and will be taken to, accept these terms and conditions.

9. Upgrade Inclusions are available to homes in connection to the Promotion. The number, type and specification of these Inclusions will depend upon whether you select Aspire or Luxe inclusions. The applicable upgrades are as follows:

In respect of homes with Aspire inclusions:

  1. Ducted air conditioning with Zone 10e.

or in respect of homes with Luxe inclusions:

  1. Ducted air conditioning with Zone 10e.
  2. Carpet
  3. 600mm x 600mm glazed porcelain tiling; or
  4. Hybrid timber look flooring

subject to the following qualifications, terms and conditions:

  1. The value of Upgrade Inclusions will vary depending on your chosen home design and whether you select Aspire or Luxe inclusions.
  2. The full retail value of Upgrade Inclusions based on a Grande 57 double storey home with Aspire inclusions is $20,000 and on average this is $18,000 for double storey homes and $13,500 for single storey homes; being the full retail price of these Upgrade Inclusions immediately prior to the 1st October 2021 for homes with Aspire inclusions.
  3. The full retail value of Upgrade Inclusions based on a Grande 57 double storey home with Luxe inclusions is $40,000 and on average this is $31,500 for double storey homes and $25,500 for single storey homes; being the full retail price of these Upgrade Inclusions immediately prior to the 1st October 2021 for homes with Aspire inclusions.
  4. You may obtain the advertised prices for homes with Aspire or Luxe inclusions at a Clarendon Homes display centre
  5. You may obtain more information on the full list of Upgrade Inclusions applicable to the Promotion at a Clarendon Homes display centre

10.  In order to take advantage of the Promotion, you must choose (and you are only entitled to choose) one only of Aspire or Luxe inclusions for your chosen home design.

11. In relation to the Promotion, you will not be given a credit for the deletion of any Inclusion specified therein. Each of the Inclusions are not redeemable for cash and are not transferrable.

12.  In relation to homes with Aspire inclusions, further descriptions and full details of Upgrade Inclusions (as applicable) are set out in further detail as follows:

  • Zone 10e control with touch screen and mobile app

13.  In relation to homes with Luxe inclusions, further descriptions and full details of Upgrade Inclusions (as applicable) are set out in further detail bas follows:

Premium quality carpet

  • A choice of 9 colours available from Carpet Call’s “Laguna Keys” range including 10mm underlay
  • Carpet layout as per Clarendon Homes’ standard floor covering layout for your chosen home design, a copy of which can be obtained from a Clarendon Homes sales consultant

With your choice of either:

600mm x 600mm glazed porcelain tiling

  • A choice of colours from Clarendon Homes’ “Gold” range of 600mm x 600mm glazed porcelain tiles for the main floor areas of your home, including pressed or rectified edge options
  • Tiling layout as per Clarendon Homes’ standard floor covering layout for your chosen home design, a copy of which can be obtained from a Clarendon Homes sales consultant

or:

Hybrid timber look flooring

  • A choice of 10 colours from Carpet Call’s “Wood Effects Plus” range of hybrid timber look flooring for the main floor areas of your home
  • Hybrid timber look flooring layout as per Clarendon Homes’ standard floor covering layout for your chosen home design, a copy of which can be obtained from a Clarendon Homes sales consultant

You’ve worked hard to build the home you’ve always wanted, and it’s only natural you’ll want to be confident that it will withstand the test of time. That’s why Clarendon gives you a life time structural guarantee, so you can have peace of mind and relax in your brand new home.

Clarendon’s guarantee covers major structural element defects, attributable to defective design or workmanship. This includes situations where the defect results in the building or part of the building being unsuitable for use, physical damage to the building or the building posing a threat of physical damage or collapse.

The structural elements of your home are those elements which are essential to the building’s stability and structural integrity, namely, the frame, roof trusses, slab, piers and footings.

At Clarendon, we pride ourselves on the quality and workmanship of our homes. In the unlikely event that you become aware of a major structural element defect in your home, please notify us in writing immediately. If your home is subject to a major structural element defect, it will be fixed by Clarendon at our own cost within a reasonable time after receiving your notice.

There are some conditions under which our guarantee becomes void. These include if you have carried out structural alterations or additions to the property, or if you have transferred/sold the property or if the damage has been caused by a lack of reasonable maintenance or action to minimise damage. You should take care to maintain your home over its lifetime, including, major maintenance activities such as replacing roof tiles after their useful life. This will protect the structural integrity of your home and minimise the likelihood of your guarantee becoming void.

The everyday ageing of your home is also not covered by our guarantee. This includes shrinkage and minor settlement cracks and normal wear and tear. Damage caused by an act of nature which exceeds that allowed for by the relevant Australian Standards or good building practice is also not covered.

Standard facade pricing is based on face brick (and cladding to double storey homes) with roof tiles unless otherwise specified.
