Inclusions to create a stylish interior

Your brand new home is your private sanctuary; a place where memories are made and milestones are celebrated. It’s your very own personalised space in the world, which is why we know the importance of adding in certain inclusions so that it becomes a stylish space to remember!

Our carefully curated list of inclusions will take your new abode from ‘you have a lovely home’ to ‘wow, did you hire an interior decorator? This is magnificent!’ And it’s thanks to the wonderful inclusions that may not be the most obvious to the untrained eye.

EXTRA HIGH CEILINGS

Create a sense of space and height with extra high, 2750mm ceilings. At this height, your home will feel bigger than it is and create a feeling of opulence and style. For single storey homes, you may even want to consider a 3000mm ceiling height to the entry of your home to create a lasting impression. High ceilings are a must-have in any new home, which is why they’re a popular choice amongst our customers.

EXTRA HEIGHT TO WINDOWS AND DOORS

Not only should your ceilings be high, but you will want to increase the height to your internal and external doors, windows and garage door to make sure everything looks proportionate. These subtle differences create a world of difference without you realising it and have the added bonus of allowing extra light to stream through the home.

SQUARE SET CEILINGS

Square set ceilings are the perfect addition to any home, and are a must-have for stylish interiors. Square set ceilings are where the wall and ceiling joins meet, giving a modern square edge look. This is a stylish alternative to cornices, and should be definitely considered if you want your home to look breathtaking. At Clarendon Homes, we like to stand apart from the crowd, which is why an extra that we include as standard in all bathrooms is square set ceilings.

UPGRADED STAIRCASE

Are you building a double storey home? If your staircase is in a prominent position, such as in the entrance, consider upgrading your staircase to make a statement. Staircases can be personalised to suit your personal style, including changing the timber treads and rises, or even adding a glass balustrade. A statement staircase not only adds value to your home in the long run, but creates a beautiful showpiece for your stylish interior

PREMIUM FLOORING

Flooring plays a big role in creating a stylish interior, as it takes up a large portion of your home. With an array of flooring options in different colours, patterns and textures, you’ll be able to choose the perfect option to match your  home’s interior. To take your interior to the next level, we recommend upgrading your flooring and choosing between a large range of hybrid timber flooring, large format tiles and premium carpet with plush underlay.

BATHROOM

Add a level of luxury to your bathroom and ensuite and create a stylish interior at the same time, with full height tiling, soft close doors, tiled floor wastes, a freestanding bath, designer tapware, a tiled shower shelf and more.

KITCHEN

The kitchen tends to be the heart of the home. It’s where you prepare food daily, entertain guests and cook up a storm. It’s the most recommended room to upgrade as it sets the style tone for the rest of the home. Consider 40mm stone benchtops, a grand island bench, designer tapware, high-quality European appliances, soft close pot drawers and a luxurious butler’s pantry.
