Will a Clarendon acreage home design work for you?

Rural block considerations for homes and acreage

Rural block considerations for homes and acreage

There are essential requirements that you must have in place on your acreage block before Clarendon Homes can build. You can use the checklist below to help you understand whether a Clarendon Homes acreage design could work for your rural block.

What do I need for building an Acreage Home?

Essential Requirements for building an acreage home with Clarendon:

Mobile coverage

There must be good mobile phone coverage in your area for work safety reasons and to allow communication between site supervisors and trades.

Town water connection or potable water

You must have either town water connected at your property or access to water tanks with a good supply of potable water. Potable water is drinking water that’s suitable for human consumption.

Electricity connection

You need to have electricity connected on your property before we can build. Clarendon can’t build on properties that are remote and “off the grid”

Sewer connection

The location of the septic or Envirocycle needs to be determined before we can build so we can connect your new home to the sewer points.

Level building area

To build one of our homestead style acreage homes, you will need a near level building area. You may need to undertake earthworks to create a suitable building platform before Clarendon can build on your rural block.
